Text Leads to 21002: 1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint: This 1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is one of an estimated 1,414 examples assembled during the model's debut production year and is said to have spent 42 years in storage prior to being purchased by the seller in 2010 as a disassembled, non-running project. Refurbishment work was carried out over the next five years and involved stripping the body, performing rust repairs, and repainting the car in Verde Chiaro. A replacement 1.3L twin-cam inline-four was rebuilt prior to being installed and is mated to a column-shifted four-speed manual gearbox. Overhauls of the suspension and brakes were also carried out, while the interior was refreshed with green and beige upholstery. The car rides on Fergat-style 15" wheels and is further equipped with Koni shocks, Carello headlights, and a Le Chaperon push-button radio. Text Leads to 21002: 18×7.5” and 18×10” BBS Modular Wheels for Ferrari 360 at No Reserve: These four 18″ five-spoke modular wheels were manufactured by BBS in Germany for use on Ferrari 360 models. Each wheel features a two-piece modular design, a silver center and machined lips, and a yellow prancing-horse center cap. The front pair measure 7.5” in width and the rear pair are 10″ wide, and the wheels have 31.5mm and 38.95mm offsets, respectively. The wheels were used for approximately 14k miles by the previous owner on a Ferrari 348, and the extended rear bolts for that application are included in the sale. The Michelin Pilot sport tires were mounted approximately 4k miles ago in 2017. Mixed Feelings on Ferrari’s Design Choices for the F80 Sometimes I just don’t understand Ferrari’s design decisions. Take the F80 for example—it’s a $3.5 million hypercar, but the design feels inconsistent. The top view is stunning, and while the rear view is not bad, it doesn't feel special enough for a car of this caliber. But the front view? Honestly, no matter how you look at it, it’s just downright unattractive. What baffles me even more is the choice of materials. At this price point, I expect nothing less than perfection, and Ferrari could have at least gone with carbon fiber for the front fascia. Instead, we get glossy black plastic that you can find in a $35,000 Camaro. Really? Does this design choice make sense for a car with such a pedigree and price tag?
